Welcome to the Community Exchange! To keep this fun for everyone, follow these rules.
RULE 1
Keep It Original
Only upload sounds you created or have permission to use. Do not upload copyrighted music, songs, TV/movie clips, or audio from other apps. Tones that violate copyright will be removed.
RULE 2
Keep It Clean(ish)
We're golfers — we get it. Trash talk and humor are welcome. But slurs, hate speech, threats, harassment, or content targeting someone's race, gender, religion, or orientation will result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.
RULE 3
No Explicit or Illegal Content
Do not upload content that promotes violence, illegal activity, drug use, or sexually explicit material. Keep it something you'd be comfortable playing on the first tee with strangers.
RULE 4
Respect Privacy
Do not upload recordings of someone without their knowledge or consent. If your tone features another person's voice, make sure they're cool with it being shared globally.
RULE 5
No Spam or Self-Promotion
Don't upload tones that are advertisements, promotions, or repetitive low-effort content designed to flood the Exchange.
RULE 6
Tone Names Matter
Keep tone names fun but appropriate. Misleading, offensive, or impersonating names (pretending to be another creator) will be removed.
RULE 7
Rate Honestly
Rate tones based on quality and fun factor. Don't manipulate ratings by creating multiple accounts or coordinating fake reviews.
RULE 8
Reporting
See something that breaks these rules? Use the in-app report button. We review every report and take action within 24 hours.
RULE 10
Have Fun
This is a golf soundboard. The whole point is to make rounds more entertaining. Create something that makes a stranger's foursome laugh. That's the spirit of Topes Tones.
Consequences
First offense:
Tone removed with a warning.
Second offense:
Temporary upload suspension (7 days).
Third offense:
Permanent ban from Community Exchange.
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account at our discretion.
